Tyler wanted to see what the boys were doing next door. He came in, got his chair, took it outside, set it up, got on it, and looked through the hole all by himself.
I just realized I forgot to post this craft Tyler made. We did it 2 weeks ago, I think. Anyway, he's painting the stalk with his circle sponge-he loves that one. In the second picture, he's putting the bubble wrap on the corn after I helped him dip it in orange and yellow paint. It turned out cute.
I told Tyler about us going to IL in December and that he'd get to see snow. I told him a little too soon because everyday he for the past 2 weeks he talks about going to IL to see snow. He tells me he's going on an airplane to IL to see snow and see grandma, grandpa, and Jazzie (the dog). Today we counted how many days till we go to IL, which is 21, and then we made a paper chain. Each day we take off one of the loops. When they're gone, it's time for us to go to IL. I'm not sure if he really understands it or not, but he'll like ripping one off each day and talking about IL.
Yes, these are Tyler's scrapbooks. One is just for his first year. The second is year one and two. I just finished his Halloween page, so these books are totally up to date. That is a huge accomplishment for any scrapbooker and considering when he turned one, I only had 5 or 6 layouts finished.
My brother, Tom is coming to live with us for 3 months starting in January. He's doing his internship at Athletic Republic in New Braunfels. I'm so excited to have him here. My mom says that once he's here, he'll want to stay, which is fine by us. I'm glad Tyler will have some good quality time with Tom.
I went with my neighbor, Aimee and her daughter, Emma today to see Riverdance. It was wonderful! I have no idea how those dancers move their legs and feet so fast. We went out to lunch first and then to the show. It was a nice girls afternoon.
We're starting on our Thanksgiving/fall crafts. After doing Halloween ones, Tyler asks for crafts now. I got my ideas from the website: http://www.notimeforflashcards.com/. This lady has so many awesome ideas. This is our first turkey and you use a potato to paint the body and then make each feather. I thought Tyler would think this was really cool, but he didn't. He wouldn't even touch the potato. I smeared it around to show him how fun it was, but nope, he wanted his paint brushes and sponges. The turkey still turned out cute. Next week, we'll be making the marshmellow corn and bubble wrap corn. They're from the same website. Take a look.
Tyler's friend, Emily came over Halloween night. We had pizza and then went trick or treating. Tyler had a good time and couldn't wait to get into his candy. Tyler was a UPS Man and Emily was Magenta from Blue Clues.
