Scooter

Last week, Scott and I went to San Diego for our 10 year anniversary. We had a great trip and I will be posting about that soon. While we were away, my parents watched Tyler and they had a blast. I'll be posting about all the fun things they did soon too. One thing they did was buy Tyler a scooter. He loves it! Today was his first time with it outside and he did really well.

Piggies & Paws II

Last month I posted a picture of a tractor using Tyler's footprint. We went to another Piggies & Paws party and Tyler wanted to do the cement truck that used his hand print. Here it is.

First Board Game

Tyler got his first board game today - Hi Ho Cherry-O. He's been counting, so I thought this was a good game to start with. He loved playing it today!

Painting

Tyler loves to paint. Lately, I've been trying to show him how to use a different brush for each color instead of mixing them all up. When you mix them all up, it just ends up brown. Today he painted this car and did such a good job.

Chipboard Book

On Saturday I went to a scrapbook class at Scrapbook Heaven-it's a store here in San Antonio. We made a chipboard book. Chipboard is a little bit thicker than cardboard and you cover it with paper. This was my first time doing a chipboard book. I think it turned out really cute. I'll put some of Tyler's fun summer pictures in it. The reason I wanted to go to this class is that I've been wanting to do a chipboard book and have it have all of Tyler's funny and cute sayings in it.

That time of year again

Well, it's finally hot enough to play in water outside. Tyler loves to play with the hose. He waters the yard, squirts the dogs, sometimes he takes soap out and washes his outside toys.... I think this week, we should be able to go to the pool. Let the fun begin!
