Last night, we carved our pumpkin. Tyler just watched. He wanted no part in getting dirty. He barely would look inside the pumpkin-that might be because Scott kept teasing him that there was a snake inside. He also thought it smelled really bad. He did think his jack-o-lantern looked neat all lit up.

Frankenstein
Tyler saw on my mom's blog the fun craft she made with his cousins. Once he saw it, he had to do it. This is our Frankenstein.

Work of Art
While I was getting Tyler's bath ready last night, he came upstairs and wanted me to come downstairs to see what he had made. I came down and he was so excited to show me this. I asked if it was his work of art and he said "yes, mommy, put on blog." This morning he asked if I had put it on the blog yet. Here it is:

Busy Weekend
We had a busy weekend. Friday night we went to the Rampage game. Tyler thought it was funny when the guys hit the sides and he liked giving T-Bone a high five. He also has figured out how to take pictures with Scott's phone, so he had to take some of the game.

Saturday we went to Devine Acres with his friend, Emily. We did the hay ride, duck races, maze, golf, fed goats and played on the playground like last year. This year we also did fishing-Tyler & Daddy caught 2 fish. Tyler played the horse shoes and we roasted marshmallows although he wouldn't even try the roasted ones.

Sunday Tyler helped Daddy in the yard. We had a fence post that was getting very loose from rotting wood, so they replaced it. Earlier in the week, they went out and bought the post. Tyler's been waiting to all week to work on it. Here he's helping stain the new post.

Gooey ghost and cookies
I found this gooey ghost I thought Tyler might like to make. Don't know what I was thinking since it's messy and Tyler doesn't like to get messy. So, I made the gooey ghost. He wouldn't even touch the gooey stuff. The picture of me trying to show you the gooey stuff isn't the best because Tyler was taking it. Anyway, on a paper bag, draw the design of a ghost. Then you add 3/4 cup shaving cream and 1/4 cup glue and mix it all together. Put it on the ghost to your liking, add eyes and a mouth and then let dry for a good 5 hours. When dry, cut out.

These are our Halloween cookies we made last weekend.

April 2011
That is when I'm due with baby #2. April 14, to be exact. Tyler was early, so I can only hope this baby will be too. I'm 13 1/2 weeks right now. It was a rough first trimester, but I'm getting more energy and am not nearly as nauseous and sick as I was. Tyler seems to understands and likes telling people that "Mommy has a baby in her tummy." He goes back and forth between wanting a baby brother and baby sister. I think today he wants a baby brother. We're excited. At my next appt. on Nov. 5, we should be able to find out the sex.

Pumpkin Patch
We went to Love Orchards Pumpkin Patch on Monday. The weather was perfect; it even felt like fall. Tyler had such a good time. He painted a pumpkin, went on a barrel ride and hay ride. He loved the maze!! Him and his friend, Genevieve had so much fun running through it.

I think the petting zoo was one of Tyler's favorite part. These little chicks they let the kids pet were only 4 days old. Tyler loved petting the bunny and guinea pig. He also had fun feeding the goats and sheep.

In a few weeks, we'll be going to Devine Acres. We went to that Pumpkin Patch last year and loved it. They are both good pumkin patches, but Devine Acres has a few more things to do.

WVU vs LSU
Last weekend Scott and I went to Baton Rouge for the WVU vs LSU games. Scott is a huge WVU fan. His dad went there and he grew up going to games. LSU is his second favorite team since he went to LSU Shreveport. Even though WVU lost, we still had a good time. We had yummy Cajun sea food when we arrived. We got to the game early, so we got to see the team walk by all the fans, the band come in, and the Tiger being wheeled down the street. There were a few rowdy groups of people that would call anyone in WVU shirts "Tiger Bait" anytime we walked by, but most everyone in "Death Valley" was nice. We were 8 rows from the top and where we were sitting, it was probably 85% WVU fans. It was fun to get away although it was a lot of driving for one weekend. Tyler stayed with his grandparents in Houston and had a good time there.

Fall Crafts
These are some of the fall crafts we've started. For the acorn, I had to cut out a stencil and then Tyler used fall paint colors and painted it with acorns. I think it turned out great.

This is his jack-o-lantern. After he painted the plate orange, I cut out the face, then we used black crape paper on the back for the face and added a green stem.

Tonight we made yummy peach cobbler.
