The cast is off
Yesterday Tyler got his cast off. He did wonderful! Here are some pictures of it. The machine they use is pretty loud, so that's why he's wearing headphones.

You can tell in this picture he's a little nervous. He told me when we got there he was nervous and would try not to cry.
Now that is off, we've already gone to the pool and last night he took a long, fun bath. He still keeps his arm at his side a lot, but he'll gradually start using it again.

Catching Up
I am finally able to catch up on this blog. We have been quite busy this past week. A week ago this past Friday, Scott's parents came over for a visit. This was Grandpop Shobe's first time meeting Molly.
Molly making herself right at home with Grandmom Shobe.
After Scott's parents left on Saturday, my Aunt and Uncle flew in from Kansas.
Linda with Molly. Linda is my mom's sister.
Tyler hanging out with Ed.
Sunday we celebrated Father's Day with Scott. I am so thankful to have such a wonderful father for our kids.
Sunday night my parents, their dog, my sister & her two kids arrived. Monday we headed down to the River Walk. Tyler with his cousins, Kyla and Kaleb. Unfortunately this is the best picture I got all week of them. Tyler had a blast playing with his cousins!
Me and my sister, Kim on the river boat.

Tuesday we went to Sea World. I love this picture of my sister and Kaleb.
Once again, Tyler was such a good sport with his cast. You wouldn't even know he had one. He was playing in the kids area and climbing up and down the ropes like normal.
There was a baby sea lion there that was only 2 1/2 weeks old. She stayed by her momma the whole time. They were so sweet.
Grandma and Grandpa Chambers with Tyler and Molly. Sunday night when they got here, my Dad got Molly to laugh for the first time. It was so cute.

Aunt Kim and Kyla with Molly. I don't have a picture of Kaleb with Molly, but he really liked her.
My mom made Molly and Kyla matching dresses
Wednesday night we went out to dinner to celebrate Scott's birthday. This is our try at a family picture.
Tyler & Daddy
We also celebrated Tyler's birthday early, so my parents and sister could give him their gifts while they were here. Tyler has been into soccer and has started soccer tots, so my parents gave him a portable goal. He loves it.
Aunt Kim, Kyla & Kaleb gave him this fire truck he's been asking for and a toy gun-him and Kaleb both got one-they're really loud and light up. They had a blast with them, but us adults could only handle them in short bursts.
My Aunt & Uncle flew home on Thursday and my parents and sister left on Friday. It was a busy, but fun week.

2 Months
Miss Molly, you are 2 months old. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. Although I want you to stay little, you are getting so much bigger. At your appt. yesterday, you weighed 11 lbs. 7 oz. which is the 74th percentile and you were 22.4 in. long which is the 55th percentile. You are such a sweet baby. You are happy and very content almost all the time. You are a great sleeper and wonderful eater. You can sleep all night. You've done 9:00-7:00. Sometimes you will wake up at 4:00 or 5:00 to eat and then go right back to sleep for another 3 hours. I can't complain one bit about your sleeping. When you get tired, you rub your eyes and bury your head in my chest. A lot of times, I can lay you down then and you'll go to sleep on your own. You still are only up for an hour and a half to two hours during the day before you need a nap. We aren't on a schedule yet-you just do your thing and I let you. You are full of smiles these days and you like to coo and talk. It is so sweet to listen to you. Unfortunately every time you talk a lot, you get the hiccups. You will take a bottle, which is great for the few times I've had to leave you. You are content to lie on your floor mats and look at the toys for a good 20-30 min. You enjoy your baths. Your brother absolutely adores you! He is always on the floor by you, loves to play with you and check on you when you are sleeping. He stops people in the store to show them his new baby sister. You couldn't have a better big brother. We have just loved having you! We can't imagine our family without you!!

Projects
Tyler has been such a good sport with his cast. He pretty much can do everything he did before. I do try not to be outside too long because then it gets hot and will itch. So, Tyler and I looked up some crafts on http://www.notimeforflashcards.com/ and these are the ones he picked out.

The rest of the visit
I left off with my last post about us going to Sea World on Thursday. That night, we went to the pool. This was Zac's first time at a big pool and he loved it. We went back to the pool Friday too. The boys had so much fun.
Friday night, we went to El Chaparral for dinner. It was yummy Mexican food!! After dinner we went got ice cream from Baskin Robbins. The boys loved their clown cones.

Saturday morning, the boys spent more time playing. Tyler taught Zac how to do somersaults. He also put on his Buddy Holly CD and we all danced around the house. We went on another walk. Then it was back home for lunch before we had to take Val & Zac back to the airport. I tried to get Zac to stay here. I promised him the pool everyday and cookies & ice cream everyday, but he said no. He wanted to see Daddy at home.
It was a great visit and we are so glad Val & Zac came!

Fun with Aunt Val and Zac
My sister, Valerie, and nephew, Zac are visiting us this week. We have had a blast so far. Tyler is loving having someone other than me to play with. The boys have been outside a lot doing "work," playing in bubbles, running in the sprinkler...

My sister is pregnant and due in Oct. She's getting some good baby time with Molly. She's hoping her little girl is as easy as Molly. Zac has loved holding Molly too. He's held her everyday so far. He'll be a great big brother. (Molly doing her tough look)

Yesterday we went to the Wildlife Ranch. The boys had fun. Zac didn't like the ostriches too much though.
Today we went to Sea World and, of course, had a blast. My friends watched Molly for me and she did wonderful!!
Tyler showed Zac how to climb the ropes.
Isn't Zac just the cutest!
Here is Molly at her friend, Evan's house. My friend, Amy, said they just layed there and cooed at each other for a good half hour. Evan is 6 days older than Molly.
