Catching Up

I am finally able to catch up on this blog. We have been quite busy this past week. A week ago this past Friday, Scott's parents came over for a visit. This was Grandpop Shobe's first time meeting Molly. Molly making herself right at home with Grandmom Shobe. After Scott's parents left on Saturday, my Aunt and Uncle flew in from Kansas.
Linda with Molly. Linda is my mom's sister. Tyler hanging out with Ed.
Sunday we celebrated Father's Day with Scott. I am so thankful to have such a wonderful father for our kids.
Sunday night my parents, their dog, my sister & her two kids arrived. Monday we headed down to the River Walk. Tyler with his cousins, Kyla and Kaleb. Unfortunately this is the best picture I got all week of them. Tyler had a blast playing with his cousins! Me and my sister, Kim on the river boat.
Me & Tyler on the river boat.
Tuesday we went to Sea World. I love this picture of my sister and Kaleb.
Once again, Tyler was such a good sport with his cast. You wouldn't even know he had one. He was playing in the kids area and climbing up and down the ropes like normal. There was a baby sea lion there that was only 2 1/2 weeks old. She stayed by her momma the whole time. They were so sweet.
Grandma and Grandpa Chambers with Tyler and Molly. Sunday night when they got here, my Dad got Molly to laugh for the first time. It was so cute.

Aunt Kim and Kyla with Molly. I don't have a picture of Kaleb with Molly, but he really liked her. My mom made Molly and Kyla matching dresses
Wednesday night we went out to dinner to celebrate Scott's birthday. This is our try at a family picture.
Tyler & Daddy
We also celebrated Tyler's birthday early, so my parents and sister could give him their gifts while they were here. Tyler has been into soccer and has started soccer tots, so my parents gave him a portable goal. He loves it. Aunt Kim, Kyla & Kaleb gave him this fire truck he's been asking for and a toy gun-him and Kaleb both got one-they're really loud and light up. They had a blast with them, but us adults could only handle them in short bursts. My Aunt & Uncle flew home on Thursday and my parents and sister left on Friday. It was a busy, but fun week.

Thanks for a wonderful time....it was great fun seeing where you live and doing all the fun stuff with you guys. Hope that many people was not to much for you guys and sorry about the dog adventure. If you ever do a road trip to Illinois, let us know and you can stop by the farm. Don said he only gave it a 2 star hotel, because he hit his head in the shower.....of course we told him he could use the main bath but he didn't.....LOL. Thanks again, Aunt Linda and Uncle Ed.
