2 Months

Miss Molly, you are 2 months old. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. Although I want you to stay little, you are getting so much bigger. At your appt. yesterday, you weighed 11 lbs. 7 oz. which is the 74th percentile and you were 22.4 in. long which is the 55th percentile. You are such a sweet baby. You are happy and very content almost all the time. You are a great sleeper and wonderful eater. You can sleep all night. You've done 9:00-7:00. Sometimes you will wake up at 4:00 or 5:00 to eat and then go right back to sleep for another 3 hours. I can't complain one bit about your sleeping. When you get tired, you rub your eyes and bury your head in my chest. A lot of times, I can lay you down then and you'll go to sleep on your own. You still are only up for an hour and a half to two hours during the day before you need a nap. We aren't on a schedule yet-you just do your thing and I let you. You are full of smiles these days and you like to coo and talk. It is so sweet to listen to you. Unfortunately every time you talk a lot, you get the hiccups. You will take a bottle, which is great for the few times I've had to leave you. You are content to lie on your floor mats and look at the toys for a good 20-30 min. You enjoy your baths. Your brother absolutely adores you! He is always on the floor by you, loves to play with you and check on you when you are sleeping. He stops people in the store to show them his new baby sister. You couldn't have a better big brother. We have just loved having you! We can't imagine our family without you!!
