Scarecow & Bat

Here are Tyler's other two Halloween craft projects.
The Bat:The Scarecrow: For this one, I cut out the pieces, then had Tyler paint a poster board, then copied the pieces onto it and cut them out again. I used some scrapbook paper for the patches and hair and real buttons for the buttons.

Pumpkin Extravaganza

We took Tyler to the Pumpkin Extravaganza at Devine Acres today and he absolutely loved it! His friend, Emily, and her parents came too. The kids had a blast. There was so much to do.

These were the duck races that they had. You had to pump the water to make the ducks go.
We went on the barrel ride and the hay ride.
They had a good sized maze, but since it was only one hay stack high, when Tyler got to a dead end, he would say, "wrong way," but then just hop over it.
Tyler and Daddy had fun at the bucket golf. Scott is thinking of using these pipe clubs in his regular golf game-they worked so well.
These are the goats you could feed. I've never seen goats in trees before. Tyler was not scared of them at all.Tyler and Emily picked out pumpkins to paint. They also had a great playground for the kids to play on. It was just a fun day and the weather was perfect too.

Halloween Crafts

These are a few Halloween crafts Tyler made. They're pretty easy and involve the glue stick, which Tyler loves. The white one is a ghost in case you were wondering. You're really suppose to use white streamers, but we didn't have any, so we had to use paper strips. Stay tuned for more later-we have a hand print bat and a scarecrow still to make.

Hole in One

Scott played in his company golf tournament today at the Hyatt Hill Country. Besides his foursome winning, he also made a Hole in One!! I wish I could have been there to seen it. Way to go Scott!

All Boy

This is what I saw Tyler doing when I looked in the living room today. He knows he's not suppose to be jumping on the couch, so I guess he thought jumping off of it was OK. He was even saying," on your mark, get set, jump!" He's such a boy!

Mow & Weed Wack

Whenever Scott works in the yard, he wears a bandana. Tyler now likes to get the bandanna and put it around his neck and say-"Tyler weed wack," "Tyler mow," and "Tyler more mulch." The first time he did it, I just cracked up. It was so cute. Just the fact that he noticed that is what Daddy does and then copied it. He doesn't always use a bandana. In the bath tub, he uses the wash cloth and when we're getting dressed, he likes to roll up his shirt and use that. He's such a silly boy.
