Tyler's First Rodeo

Today Tyler and I went to the rodeo and he loved it!! My friend, Julia and her two daughters met us there and we had such a good time. Tyler loved the animals. At first he was a little cautious of the big cows, but got used to them and wanted to pet them-he wasn't able to do that. He loved watching the cows get baths. He did pet the pigs. I was too slow to get a picture though. He also saw goats, sheep, chicks, chickens, and turkeys.
Tyler was tall enough to ride some rides. It was dollar days, so he got a park hot dog, lemonade, and cotton candy. That was his first cotton candy!

Doggie

Tyler has never needed a pacifier, blanket or things like that. Recently he has to have certain things for his nap and bed time, but nothing that he has to take with him out. That has now changed. I've had this blue dog sitting on a shelf in his room-I got it for a shower present. He wanted to play with it a few weeks ago and now he must always have it. He takes it to church, Mother's Day Out, Bible Study, MOPS, to the store, outside to play with, and of course, nap and bedtime. If he gets hurt during the day or upset about something, he always needs his doggie. When I asked what he was going to name his blue dog, he said, doggie.

More Valentine Crafts

Today we made a few more crafts. The first is a truck load of love! I had to cut out the truck, wheels, hearts and Tyler had to glue it together. The truck bed is a red envelop and there are hearts inside. They're suppose to stick out, but Tyler wanted them in all the way. This second one is painted hearts. I copied these ideas from ArtWorks. The first one is using golf balls and the second is using cars.
Get the golf balls full of paintPut them in the big container, the heart to be painted it already in the containerShake, shake, shake

Valentine Craft

Here is our first Valentine Craft. You put a lot of glue on a plate and dip a heart shaped cookie cutter in it.
Then put in on paper
Sprinkle glitter on it.
I recommend glitter with little holes on the top or you end up like this.
And Tada: The finished project.

Tyler & Wrigley

I was cleaning the kitchen up and could hear Tyler out in the front living room with Wrigley. Everything sounded fine, but leaving Tyler alone with Wrigley is sometimes not a good thing for Wrigley. Anyway, when I looked out there, this is what I saw. How cute are they! Tyler was having a great time reading to Wrigley and even now as I post this, I can hear him singing to Wrigley.
