Smiles

For the past few weeks I have been trying to get pictures of Molly smiling. Every time she's smiling, I get the camera and then she stops. I have finally gotten a few really cute ones of her.

Molly is still just a great little girl. She's sleeping between 6-8 hours a night. When she gets up, she eats and goes back to sleep for another 2-3 hours. We are so lucky with that! She still hardly ever fusses. She's a happy girl and will be content on her floor mats for 20-30 min. She's also starting to coo and tries to talk and make sounds-I love it. She's so much fun and I love her to pieces. Tyler still adores her. Just today at the store, he showed 3 people his baby sister and told them her name. Now that's she's getting a little bigger, it's easier for him to hold her. He holds her at least two times every day.

Birthday Guys

I realize it's 9:50 at night and I'm just getting this post up, but it's better late than never. Today is our sweet Wrigley's 7th birthday. Wriggy is such a good dog. He's pretty easy going. He loves attention and is our lap dog. He loves walks!

He found the perfect stick-it just wouldn't fit in the door. He's such a silly boy!

Today is also my Dad's birthday! Here he his with his 3 grandson. Happy Birthday Dad!

Quilts

My Aunt Linda is a very skilled quilter. She made Tyler and now Molly their own quilt. Tyler's nursery was done in puppies, so she made him this adorable dog quilt. Since Molly's room is a lot of pastel colors, she made Molly this adorable cupcake quilt.

Awake & Alert

Miss Molly is staying awake a little longer these days and being more alert. I love it. She has such big pretty eyes and just looks all around. She likes her floor mats. She lays on them and looks at the colors around her and above her. She is still continuing to be a pretty easy baby. She's eating well and sleeping great. When I put her down at night, her first stretch is 4-5 hours, then she eats and goes right back to sleep for another 3-4 hours.

Mother's Day

I had a nice Mother's Day with my sweet babies. I know, Tyler is a big boy, but as I tell him, he'll always be my baby.

Build-A-Bear

Last Saturday, Tyler went to a birthday party at Build-a-bear. It was his first time there and he loved it. Here he is putting his heart into his bear.Getting his bear stuffed.
This is Tyler trying to convince Dad that his bear needs a car. His mission failed.
Tyler with Hot Dog-yes, he picked that name himself. All week he's had to have Hot Dog with him. Hot Dog had to meet Molly too. You can't tell, but Hot Dog has on an Astros shirt. He also got socks and shoes.

Comparison of Tyler & Molly

Lots of people keep asking me if Tyler had as much hair as Molly does. He did. Here are some pictures to compare the two. In most of Tyler's pictures from the hospital, he has on a hat, but here are two that show his hair. The next two pictures are of Tyler and the two after that of Molly. I think they have the same nose and mouth/chin.This is how the two of them sleep. Both with their arms stretched out.These are their first baths pictures. The first is Tyler, second and third are Molly. This was Tyler's announcement picture. He was 3 weeks old here. Molly's picture is below and was taken when she was 2 days old. I think they look very much alike.
