Molly's 3rd Birthday Puppy Party

What a day!  We had Molly's 3rd birthday party today.  It was a puppy party and it was cute, fun, and fabulous!!  Molly had so much fun!  She's been counting down that days until today and naming all her friends that would be coming.  Here is the dessert table.  We had Puppy Chow, Fetch sticks, brownies that looked like dog bones and this amazing puppy cake that my mom made!  We had a few problems the night before that involved going to the store for more cake and frosting and borrowing eggs from our neighbor, but she did it.  Molly loved it!

We also had lunch, but I didn't get a picture of the food.  We had sandwiches for the adults and bone-wiches for the kids.  It was pb&j that were shaped like dog bones.  We have veggies and hummus, fruit, and tortilla chips we made that were shaped like bones and dogs along with a 7 layer dip.
That mantel was filled with pictures of Molly and the kids take home gift was a puppy that they adopted.  They had dog food to take home for the dogs that was Coco Puffs.

After everyone arrived, we played a few games.  We had dogs and the kids had to roll a tennis ball into their mouth; we played Dog, Dog, Cat; and we had a race where the kids held a balloon between their legs.  I also had some different dog pictures for the kids to color.

When Molly picked her person, instead of running around the circle, she took off across the yard. By the way, how cute is this dress she has on. You can't tell, but on the skirt, it has a little girl walking a dog.

The kids had fun playing and swinging.

Tyler got Molly this bubble machine.  The kids had fun with it.
Tyler was glad to have his buddy, Colby at the party.   They found an area with lots of baby ladybugs.

Here is the cake and candle time.

I have to end with a picture of Trooper.  He had so much fun with a balloon.  He played with it a long time before it finally popped.  He was so cute.
Molly was so tired by the end of the day
A big Thank You to my good friend, Jennifer Harrison, who provided most of these pictures.  You rock!

Molly & her doggies

Molly asked me to take a picture of her with all her doggies the other day.  She's a cutie!
The doggies in order from left to right are: Blue Dog, Goldie, Whitey, Duke, Princess, Emma, Nugget, Black Puppy, Heartly, Camo, Pluto, Spot, Princess (baby), Jenna, Hope, Sohpie, Blackie, Clifford, Daisy, and Pink Dog.

I have to say, Molly remembers all their names and plays with all of them.  If you ask her what she wants for her birthday, she says-a puppy!  Like she needs anymore.  Today, I told her, Hey, I bought you something and she goes-is it a puppy?

We are busy getting ready for her Puppy Birthday Party coming up in a week and a half.  She can't wait!

Trip to Houston

A few weekends ago, we went to Houston for a few days.  The kids had fun playing with Grandma and going to the pond.  Scott and Tyler helped with some projects.  Molly loved on Portia (their dog) a ton.

While the guys worked, Molly played.  She kept telling me to take a picture of her on her scooter, take a picture of her playing with the kickball, take a picture of her jumping...not too long ago, this girl hated pictures, so I can't complain.

How cute is she reading to her puppies!!
Sunday afternoon, Molly and I met up with my good friend, Jennifer and her step daughter for a girls lunch and shopping.

Molly thought she was pretty cool showing Brianna how well she does on Subway Surfers and Temple Run

Build-A-Bear

One of Molly's Valentines coupons was to go to Build-A-Bear with Mom.  We went today and Molly loved it!  She, of course, picked a puppy.  She named her Emma.
She's giving Emma and bath, then blow drying her and brushing her

She picked out a shirt with sequins  on it and some flower shorts

Loving her new puppy!  She kept giving her kisses.

All ready to take Emma home!

Molly's first visit to the dentist

Last week Tyler and Molly went to the dentist.  This was Molly's first time and she did great.  She's been with for Tyler's other cleaning and even with me the last time I went.  For the first time, they just check her teeth and brush some fluoride onto them, so it's pretty easy.  She had her Pluto with to comfort her and the office had a big Clifford that she had to hold too.

Starting Out Wild class

Starting in Jan, Molly has been going to a fun, free class a park around here offers.  It's called, "Starting Out Wild."  In January, the theme was rocks-they did all kinds of activities with soil, sand, rocks, sand painting, painting a rock, making a rock shaker, and hearing stories about soil.  Molly really enjoyed it.

In February, the theme was worms.   Again, Molly really enjoyed it.  They dug for real worms, painted with a rubber worm, made a play-doh worm, heard stories about worms, and sang a song about worms.

It's a little blurry, but she's holding the worm there.

This coming Friday, the theme is ants.  We'll see what fun things we do then.
