Today I took Tyler to the Home Depot kids workshop. He made a planters box. He's actually turned it into another tool box when we got home. He had fun and loved hammering in all the nails. Next Saturday, we're going to the Lowe's Kids workshop, so stayed tuned.

The past few days
We've had a busy past few days. Yesterday, I took Tyler to Sea World. We haven't been since he turned 3 because I've now needed to buy him a ticket. We had a good time. They redid the kids area and added new rides. Tyler wouldn't go on any without and me and I couldn't go on them being pregnant. Next time, we'll have to go with a friend and I know he'll ride them then. We did go on the carousal.
They also had re roped the rope climbing area. You can't tell from the pictures, but they get pretty steep and I climbed up and down them with him a lot. Another reason we need to go with a friend.

Tyler really likes the Sea Lion show and this time we also saw Azul. It's his friend, Emily's favorite. I've peaked in at it before and the people are all dressed up, so I thought it just looked weird. But it was really good. There was always something new happening-beluga whales, dolphins, people diving, birds flying in, people coming down from the top doing acrobatic things...We might get one more trip in before the baby comes.
Today we went with his friend, Emily bowling, to the park, and then out to lunch. Tyler is 2 weeks older than Emily and her mom, Amy is pregnant now with a boy this time. She is 2 weeks behind me, but they are inducing her next Friday. Maybe our babies will have the same birthdays.

Weekend
Scott's parents came over on Saturday for a quick visit. Tyler and Grandmom did lots together. She helped him dig for rolly pollies, played with him in his sand and water table, and read him stories. We went to the park where Tyler showed off his soccer moves and played at the playground. Last week was Grandpop's birthday, so Tyler and I had made cookies that we decorated for him. Tyler was so excited to sing happy birthday to him. (you might notice they are wearing name tags-Tyler made those for them)

Tyler's Day of Fun
I've been trying to think of fun, easy things we can do with Tyler before the baby is born. I was suppose to have an ultrasound on Wednesday, but their machine was down, so now I go Friday instead. Anyway-my doctor said if the baby was too small or I didn't have enough fluid, she would induce then, so I needed to be ready. She wasn't trying to scare me, this is just her thing she does at 37 weeks. I doubt I'll need to be induced when I go tomorrow. But just in case, Scott took Tuesday afternoon off and we took Tyler to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch. He had never been before. I know-he's over 3 1/2 and this is his first time-blame it on me. We thought it'd be something fun for him and it was. He loved it! We were going to go bowling after, but that was just too much after all the games. Hopefully we'll get that in before the baby arrives. I take Tyler often and when we go he always ask when Daddy will be able to come. It'll be another easy, fun memory to make with him. For now, here are some pictures from Chuck E. Cheese.

These two driving ones were his favorite by far, as you can see from his face.

That afternoon his twin matress came in. He was so excited about that since it meant he got to sleep on the top bunk. He also got to help Daddy with a project that involved the power drill that evening. He had a fun Tuesday.
37 Weeks
Here I am at 37 weeks.

Everyone keeps telling me how small I am. Here are two pictures with Tyler so you can compare. The first one I am 34 weeks.
In this one, I am 36 weeks.

Tyler's new room
I finally feel like Tyler's room is finished (for now). After changing rooms, then changing back and deciding of different paint 3 times, his room is finally settled. We got the bunk bed last week, but his twin matress for the top just came in today. He was so excited to sleep on top tonight. I don't have a comforter for the top yet and we didn't get him a dresser. The dresser he had got moved to the baby's room since it matches the crib. I'm sure we will at some point, but I actually like it without one. The area under the shelves is where a dresser would go and instead he has room there to play instead. I bought those hanging shelves and just put his shorts and PJs in those in his closet. He keeps telling me, "Mommy, I like my new bed." and "Mommy, I like my room all done."

My Tool Man
Tyler is obsessed with tools. He play with tools everyday, "fixes" lots of things around the house, and is in heaven when he gets to help with a project and use Daddy's tools. I've been trying to remember to take more pictures of him using his tools for a scrapbook page. Here are some cute ones.
