Ready to Potty Train?

Tonight Tyler came over to me and layed down like he needed to be changed. He'll usually do that when he has a stinky diaper. I checked and told him he wasn't dirty. Then he got up and went to the bathroom saying,"potty" and started to pull down his shorts. So, I put him on the toilet and he just sat there. I stood him back up and went to get him a new diaper and he went potty on the floor. If only I had kept him on the toilet a little longer. I am shocked that he did this. I don't know if he knew what he was doing or if it was just a fluke. Last week was the first time I even sat him on the toilet and that was just before a bath. We'll see if what he does tomorrow. Maybe we need to go buy a potty chair.
