Illinois Trip

Tyler and I were in IL last weekend and had a great trip. We arrived Wednesday evening and that night just had dinner and caught up with my family. Thursday, we went out to lunch for my brother, Tom's, birthday. He's now 22. Then we went over to my sister, Valerie's house. Tyler loved playing with Jake, the dog, and jumping on the trampoline.
Friday we went back over to Val's house to paint the baby's nursery. She's due June 9 and looks great. She's all baby. She is not finding out what they are having, but I think it's going to be boy. Friday night Tyler and I went to my friend, Elisa's house for dinner. She has 3 boys, so Tyler had fun playing there too. I didn't get any pictures of that.

Saturday we relaxed during the day. My parents have a big front porch, but Kaleb, my nephew likes to run to the street, so they have a gate up. The boys didn't like being stuck on the porch. Grandpa took the boys and Kyla, my niece, for walks in the wagon. (the walk was before their naps, which can see in the picture). They also made visors with grandma.
Saturday night we had my cousin, Kari's wedding reception. We had a good time there. The kids loved dancing. Once they got tired, we put on their pj's and then Grandma and Grandpa took them home. I stayed with my two sisters and niece to dance the night away. OK, so we only made it till 10:30 when Kyla was too tired to stay any longer, but it was so much fun. I love dancing!
Sunday morning we went to my grandma's, Tyler's great grandma's for a visit. Then in the afternoon Val's friends gave her a baby shower. Grandpa watched both boys while us girls were gone. They took naps, grandpa too, but both boys also had poopy diapers for grandpa. Sunday night we celebrated my brother's birthday as a family. Tyler liked giving Tom fives and fists bumps.
Tyler loves playing with grandpa. He loves for him to bounce him on his lap and then let him fall.
This was one of Tyler's favorite places to look out. He liked watching the dogs outside. Here's just a few more cute pictures of the boys. Tyler is 21 months and Kaleb is 20 months. They got along pretty well. They each did their share of hitting and taking toys away, but I think they had fun together.
It was a good, but busy trip. Tyler was great on the plane there and back.
