I finally found a few things on Craigslist. We've needed a new kitchen table for a few years now, but could not see buying a brand new one when Tyler will just bang it up. I finally found a great deal on Criagslist. It's an oval table that has a leaf (I wanted a leaf for when my family is here) and came with 5 chairs. Even the oval table itself is bigger than the round one we had. Our old table was looking really bad, but we had it for 9 years and got the table and 4 chairs at KMart for $99. We got our moneys worth out of it. The new table will be so much more functional.
Everyone knows that Tyler likes Curious George. I found these 3 canvas prints on Craigslist too for a great deal. We hung them in his play area of the game room. His little area is coming together well. Grandmom and Grandpop Shobe got him this table that he loves and then I ordered this bookshelf from Target. I love the bins because they hide all the toys. I'm thinking of putting a big cork board to hang his artwork, pictures above the table. Any other ideas you might have would be great.

I LOVE the table (and craigslist- our table and chairs are from there too). The playroom looks great- which room is it in? I love the corkboard idea. I also hang string across the wall with closepins to show off artwork (and take up a large wall space)! can't wait to come and see it all in person!
I love reading about people's bargains! Good finds! I like the idea of hanging art work up; that will fill up the walls pretty quickly!
What a great find! The table looks so good and fits nicely into your kitchen. That's awesome! I also like the Curious George prints....that's one of my all-time favorite characters :)
yah thats what I was gonna say, hang a line across the wall and use clothespins to hang artwork, It will look cute and is inexpensive which is the best part!! I have 2 round circles with hooks on them which would hold the line great. I will bring them with me when we come. The pictures look great too. Need any curtains? A curous George print would look great too.
