Our Trip

Tyler and I had a great trip to Houston. When we arrived Wednesday, I dropped Tyler off at his friend, Marks and I went up to the hospital to see my best friend, Dana and her new baby boy, Grayson! He is just adorable!!

After the hospital, I picked Tyler up and we went to Grandmom & Grandpop Shobe's. We had dinner, Tyler played, and we spent the night there. Thursday morning, I went back up to the hospital to see little Grayson again.

Tyler had fun with Grandmom. They went to the pond in their neighborhood and swung while they watched the ducks and geese. The also played cars, trucks, colored, and spelled Tyler's name with dominos. When I got back, we had a picnic outside. Grandpop even got off early from work and was there.

After a nice nap, we went back to Marks. My friend Kathleen and I made dinner and then took the boys to the park. They had lots of fun. There was even a guy there with his dog, Nugget, who was fetching balls in the lake. Tyler loved that and got to throw the ball a few times.

On our walk home, there was this guy out practicing target shooting with a bow & arrow. He had us come over and we all got to try. The boys thought it was very cool.

Friday morning, we headed to my other best friend, Jennifer's. She has the little Maltese, Luna, that Tyler loves!! He once again held her the whole time and met Luna's new brother, Presley. It was great to see Jen again.

We got home this afternoon and it's nice to be home. I am tired from driving so much. It will be early to bed tonight.
