This week Tyler and I started on his Learning Time. I totally copied the idea from my friend, Kate's friend's blog. Her blog is http://www.thedomesticnotebook.blogspot.com/. I just want to give her credit seeing how it was her idea.
Anyway, we start with the calendar, which Tyler loves. He actually asks for it a few times throughout the day. I'm surprise that after one week, he knows the months of the year song. I know there is a song for the days of the week, but I can't remember the tune. I'll have to ask my teacher friends. 
Next, for each week, I pick a letter. We do different activities with that letter and there is a bible verse that starts with that letter. This week was the letter T which he already knows well. We decorated a turtle with triangles, glues twigs on a letter T, read the story of Moses and had him make the Ten Commandments. We were suppose to do a cooking activity, but never got around to it. Our verse was Prov. 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart.
