I thought this year it'd be fun to make a gingerbread house. Tyler was very excited to make one, which is why I should have read the directions first. If you have a kit, like we did, once you get the house, except for the roof finished, it has to dry for an hour. Then you add the roof and let it dry for another 2 hours. Tyler was all excited and we weren't doing anything with the candy for awhile. While I was trying to do the first part, the frosting bag tore and frosting was everywhere. The sides kept falling over too. It was a little frustrating, but we made it through. Tyler did recommend I get a hammer, nails, and duct tape and then it would stay.
Here he is when it was finally time to decorate.

Looks like a pretty cool house there. When he comes her, I have sleighs for Tyler, Kaleb, Kyla and zac to make. Now that he has made the house he will be a pro a the sleigh, LOL
Love Mom
The kids and I made one last year...so we know your frustration! Ohhh, the memories! After it was all over, we were very proud of the effort we had put into it! Needless to say that this year we decided to buy one instead! Lol!!!
