After I had Molly, my neighbors took Tyler with them to the McKenna Children's Museum in New Braunfels. Tyler has talked about it ever since-he loved it. Last week, for Valentines Day, I took Tyler and Molly there. Two of our friends from church also come. We had a great time. They have an outside area with water things-Tyler loved making pipes to use in the water.

They also had an outside area music section. Molly had fun with the xylophone.

Here are Tyler and Josiah.

Now to the inside things. Here is Miss Molly the astronaut!
It didn't take long for Tyler to find the tools and get busy fixing things.
They had a house you could put the shingles on, which Tyler did and here he is inside the house working on the plumbing.

Another favorite of Tyler's was to drive the ambulance and make the siren go.

Once his ambulance arrived at the hospital, he became Dr. Tyler.

Molly liked this area too, make these things turn.

They also had a science area whey Tyler looked through a microscope; they had an area with little babies to take care of; they had an art room to paint and color; they had a store with little carts for kids to use; they had a big cave Tyler loved going in; they had tents set up and a little pretend fire to sit around like camping, and more that I'm forgetting. It was a very cool museum! After fun there, we headed to Landa Park to have lunch and play-they have several playscapes. It was a fun day!!
