Nashville: Part 1

When we first arrived in Nashville, after we got settled at the house, we went mini-putting.  This was Tyler's first time and I honestly thought we'd have to get after him to be careful, not to hit the ball too hard and far, but he did great!  He has so much fun and even made two hole in ones.  It was me and Scott against my parents and I'm sorry to say, my parents won.  Scott having to rescue my ball from the water probably didn't help us.  My dad beat us on all individual scores.  Molly was a good sport since she had to be handed off from person to person the whole time, it was hot, and she was getting hungry.

I'm sure my dad will hate that I included this picture, but it's him with the kids so I love it.  Tyler and Molly had so much fun with him and my mom.  Here they are first thing one morning watching Up.

 We went to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel.  It was amazing!  It was beautiful with gardens, waterfalls, even a little river going through it and you could ride a boat around it.  There were tons of restaurants and shops too.

 The tour of the Grand Ole Opry was pretty neat.  Scott and I probably enjoyed it more since we're big country music fans.  We got to see where the "stars" come in, their dressing rooms, their fan mailboxes, the wall of Grand Ole Opry members, and go on stage.

 We also went to Centennial Park downtown to see the replica of the Parthenon.  It was masssive!

 There was a big open area when the guys played some frisbee.  Tyler's been big into frisbee lately and he had a new frisbee form the Children's Museum in Indy, so he had to play!
