30 Hours kid free

This past weekend our sweet friends, the Bumgarners watched Tyler and Molly for us for a night.  We dropped them off Saturday at 9:30 and picked them up Sunday at 2:30.  It was great to just hang out with Scott, have fun, and remember what we were like before kids.  Anyways, we went to lunch at Chuy's and them zip lining in Wimberly.  It was lots of fun.

That evening we went to Gruene.  We had never been there before.  It was a cute little town with fun shops and we ate at the popular Gristmill.  It was right on the river and the food was delicious!

After dinner, on the way to our hotel, we had to stop at Chick-fil-a to get a peppermint shake.  I love them!  Then we did some Christmas shopping at Lowe's- for Tyler of course.

Sunday morning we slept in, had yummy pizza at California Pizza for lunch and then checked out Trader Joe's.  It just opened up here and we have never been to one.  Everyone has been crazy about it, but it just seemed like a regular store to me.  We don't eat lots of organic food, so maybe if we did, I'd love it too.  Tonight after the kids were in bed, we got to watch the Texans game together and they won!

It was a great weekend!
