Spring Break Trip to IL

We went to IL last Thursday for Tyler's spring break and had a great time.  There was plenty of snow and it was about 35 degrees, so not too bad.  The kids had a blast with grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles.  Tyler couldn't wait to play in the snow.  Friday morning, him and Kaleb were out there for at least 2 hours, then they came in to let their snow pants and gloves dry, and were out for another 2 hours in the afternoon with Zac and Kyla when she got home from school.  Molly liked the snow till she fell down in it.

Molly liked walking with Grandpa and just sticking her feet in the edge of the snow.

Sunday when we went out in the snow, we somehow managed to talk Molly into wearing some snow pants.

So sweet!  Tyler helping Molly through the snow

Saturday was Kim's birthday.  Val and I took her out to lunch and went shopping!  It was fun!
Our sibling picture.  Saturday night, we all went out with Kim and some of her friends for her birthday!
Visiting with my Grandma Chambers
Molly still remembered and loved her Uncle Tom.  She was always looking for him and had him read her tons of books!
Molly always wanted Grandpa holding her if he was around.  The played and he also read her tons of books!  She always wanted to sit with him when it was time to eat.
Tyler was excited to show Grandpa all the sight words he knows and even read a book to him!

Getting in some painting
Monday we left for Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells.  It's a big indoor water park.  Unfortunately, Tyler woke up that morning with a stomach bug.  That afternoon, he stayed with me and Molly in the condo and y had fun in the jacuzzi while their cousins went swimming.  After a nap and meds, he felt a little better and was able to swim that night for about an hour.

After our Monday night swim, all the cousins got in the jacuzzi when we got back.
Tuesday we swam until lunch time.  Walking to the pool, there are all these stuffed bears, deer, etc.  The kids all loved looking at them.  Tuesday everyone had a great time swimming.  Tyler felt better and loved the kids area.  There were 3 slides to go down and lots of things to climb on with water pouring out on you the whole time.  It was fun.  We also all enjoyed the lazy river.  After swimming, we hit the arcade, then had lunch, and headed home.  It was definately a fun place to go to.
We enjoyed our time with family and can't wait to see them again.
