Weekend Away

While my mom was here, she watched the kids for us, so we had two nights away!  The kids had a blast.  Grandma took them our for donuts, to McDonalds for lunch, shopping, and made cookies and caramel apples with them.  They set up the tent and camped out both nights.  They also had movie night and played outside with the hose.

Scott and I left on Friday and went to Chuy's for lunch, did a little shopping and Dicks Sporting Goods, then went to the hotel for a nice nap!  After our nap, we went to see Captain Phillips.  It was very good.  I don't know the last time we went to a movie together. 

Saturday, we went to Enchanted Rock.  It was a 45 min. wait on the road just to get it.  But it was worth it.  We climbed to the top and it was steep!  It was perfect weather out that morning and we had a fun time. 

We went to Cranky Franky's BBQ on the way back to San Antonio and it was yummy!  Back in San Antonio, we went mini-putting and then back to the hotel for a nap.  We went out to dinner that night at Bourbon Street Seafood Kitchen.  It was delicious!

Sunday morning, we slept in, had a nice breakfast, and then went back home to the kiddos.  It was a nice weekend relaxing, but also doing some fun things.
