Last week on Wednesday, we took Tyler out of school and went to the Valero Texas Open. We went for the Pro-Am and really wanted to see Phil Michelson. He is our favorite! Tuesday night when the tee times were posted, Phil was not on there! We couldn't believe it. He was playing in the tournament, just not the Pro-Am. The pros get one exemption from a Pro-Am per year and this was the one Phil chose. We went out anyways-it was a gorgeous day and we had a good time. We bought a flag and Tyler got lots of autographs. Scott could tell you who all these golfers are, but I don't remember.
We decided to go back on Saturday to try to get Phil's autograph. We took Molly too, so it was her first pro golf tournament. We were able to get Phil's autograph and many more, so it was worth going back.
