I went with Tyler on his field trip yesterday to Mission San Jose. I had never been before and thought it was interesting. Tyler said it was OK. Here are some pictures.
In the early 1700's, the government of Spain wanted this area, so they invited Indians and other hunter-gatherer's to come live here with the promise food and training. The mission is very big and has these quarter where the people lived.

| The church was suppose to be the main thing in the mission. The people that came to live in the mission had to convert to Catholics and learn the catholic ways. |
