Catch Up Post

I want to get caught up here on the blog.  We had a nice Christmas.  Stacey was in town from CO and Brett & family were here from Austin for one night.  Of course, Harry and Mary were over since they live 1 mile from us now.  I don't have a ton of pictures.  Here's one of Tyler and Molly decorating cookies with Stacey, the kids Christmas morning, and me and Vienne.
Molly got two dolls, new horses, new leotards, shoes, ice cream maker, new slides for her microscope, and her big gift was her new circle swing for outside.  It's been a hit.

Tyler's big gift was tickets to the Cavalier vs. Spurs game in a few weeks.  He also got a Cavs jersey, pennant, wall stickers, and floor rug.  He got some new outdoor things that every 10 year old needs such as a new knife, folding hand saw, folding shovel, and a new air soft pistol.

On the 27th, Scott and I went with my best friend, Debbie and her husband, Blair to the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort in Bastrop.  Scott and Blair played in a golf tournament back in October and got 2nd.  They each got a free night and two free rounds of golf.  They played both rounds even though it was freezing.  I don't know how they did it.  Debbie and I left a little later than the guys, had lunch, and shopped at the Outlets.

We met up with the guys when they finished and sat with them while they ate.  We each checked in and spent some time together.  We met up with Debbie and Blair for dinner.  While we waited we played Monopoly by the fire.  It was fun.  Dinner was delicious too!

For New Year's Ever Debbie and her family and Scott's friend Philip and his family came over for dinner, games, and fireworks.  New Years Day, we went bowling.  It was the boys against the girls.  The boys won, but we all had fun.
Tomorrow Debbie and I are flying to Atlanta to have a girls weekend with Rachel.  We're excited.  Only bad thing is that instead of being in the 50's, the high is 35.  COLD!  We'll have fun no matter what.

Phew, that was a lot and now I'm up to date till I get back.
