Parents & Cousin Visit

The plan was for my Mom to come down with 3 of the kids cousins for Molly's birthday.  When I picked them up at the airport, my Dad surprised us and came too.  I was so excited to see him as were the kids.  Friday night the kids just played and played.  Saturday was Molly's birthday so after presents and breakfast, Scott took the boy to Top Golf.  They had fun there.  From there, they went to Tyler's basketball practice and game.  Us girls were home for Molly's Spa birthday party.  As soon as it was over, we booked it to Tyler's game.  After the game, my mom and I took the kids to Target to spend money.  We ordered pizza for dinner and Harry, Scott's Dad, came over to celebrate Molly's birthday.

Sunday, we went to Son's Island on Lake Placid.  I had never heard of it before I saw the Groupon.  It's a little island.  We had our own covered hut, and dock, grill, hammock...it was nice.  The water was cold, but the kids got used to it once we got this cool thing called a lily pad. You'll see it in the pictures.  We kayaked, paddle boarded, fished, cooked out, and had a nice time.  The weather gorgeous.  Me and the kids are going back with my best friend, Debbie and her kids on the 24th.

This was also nice because they could run on it, dance, play, sit...it was nice to have it to go on and not spend tons of time in the water.  We had seen a water snake.

This was my first time to paddle board and it was pretty easy.
They had my mom go out on her knees, but I think if she started standing, she'd be able to do it.

Tyler and Zac each caught 2 fish.

When we got home from Son's Island, we has s'mores.
Monday we headed downtown to the Tower of the America's.  We saw the movies, went up to the top, and played at a nearby park.  After that, we had to drop them off at the airport.
This picture is a little misleading.  It was about 55 when we woke up and up top it was very windy.  It warmed up fast to the 70's.

The weekend flew by and we are so thankful they all came down to visit!
