Tybee Island

Scott and I stayed on Tybee Island a few weeks ago.  I had taken the kid to my parents and they spent time with them, all their aunts and uncles, and cousins.  Scott and I did sightseeing in Tybee Island, Savannah, and Hilton Head.  Here are pictures from Tybee Island.  We loved it!  Our condo overlooked the beach and we got lucky and were at a place that wasn't a busy part of the beach.  Every morning and evening, we'd see the dolphins out in front of us.  We climbed 178 stairs to the top of the Tybee Lighthouse and saw the light keepers house and learned some of the history.  Other than that, we mostly relaxed, walked on the beach, and had amazing seafood.

Dinner at A.J's Dockside.  We had shrimp and flounder.  I tried Ahi Tuna here. It was alright.  It was also on a bed of seaweed.  That was too slimy.

 

Amazing crab cakes from the Crab Shack.  I also had crab stew that was to die for.
