Tyler's new room

I finally feel like Tyler's room is finished (for now). After changing rooms, then changing back and deciding of different paint 3 times, his room is finally settled. We got the bunk bed last week, but his twin matress for the top just came in today. He was so excited to sleep on top tonight. I don't have a comforter for the top yet and we didn't get him a dresser. The dresser he had got moved to the baby's room since it matches the crib. I'm sure we will at some point, but I actually like it without one. The area under the shelves is where a dresser would go and instead he has room there to play instead. I bought those hanging shelves and just put his shorts and PJs in those in his closet. He keeps telling me, "Mommy, I like my new bed." and "Mommy, I like my room all done."

My Tool Man

Tyler is obsessed with tools. He play with tools everyday, "fixes" lots of things around the house, and is in heaven when he gets to help with a project and use Daddy's tools. I've been trying to remember to take more pictures of him using his tools for a scrapbook page. Here are some cute ones.

Easter Wreath

I saw this wreath on this website and copied it. It was very easy to make, which I like.

Monster Mania

We haven't done too many crafts lately. It's been so nice, we've been outside a lot. I saw these cute monsters in my Parents magazine the other day and decided to try them.

We painted the paper towel/TP rolls in the morning and left to do our errands-which did include going to Hobby Lobby to get yarn and felt. When we got home, I cut out different shapes and we glued them on. I think this would be a better craft for older kids. I had to cut out all the pieces and do the hair. Of course, Tyler didn't want to get glue on his hands, so he put on a few things and then for the rest would tell me where he wanted it. Now that they're finished, he's had a lot of fun with them. He likes to pretend they're eating me.

If You Give a Pig a Party

Today, Tyler and I went with his friends to see If You Gift a Pig a Party at the Magik Theater. The kids really enjoyed the play and had fun. Besides enjoying the play, Tyler had lots of fun with his seat. He'd sit normal and then have the seat squish him. He wanted a picture of it for the blog. After the play, he even got a picture with the pig. He gave her a big hug too.

Baby Shower #2

My sweet friends, Julia and Leah, hosted my church shower last night. Everything was beautiful and all the desserts were wonderful!!! Opening gifts. Tyler never had one of these poppers. He's been making sure it pops well for his baby sister.

Scott and I are so blessed to have such great friends and family. Between both showers and our family's gifts, this little girl has everything she needs.

Baby Shower

My sweet neighbors gave me a baby shower today. It was so nice. The food was great, the games were fun, and little baby Shobe received wonderful gifts. They had it at our neighborhood clubhouse. It was decorated so pretty. You can see the awesome diaper cake that Holly made. Holly also made the cake. It was adorable and I have to show you a picture of the inside too. It's checkered! And it was so yummy.
Here are some of the cute gifts. First, my mom and sisters sent this clothesline with a little bit of everything-outfits, gowns, burp cloths, wash cloths, bibs, head bands...
My Grandma knitted this beautiful blanket.
