The Doggies

I have to make a post about the doggies. They were our babies until Tyler was born. They still are very spoiled-they sleep with us at night, have someone stay with them at the house when we're out of town, but they're not walked everyday now and whenever we eat or Tyler has a snack, they have to go in their kennels. They still get lots of attention though. Tyler loves his doggies and tries to give them kisses. They don't particularly love that, but he keeps on trying.

Ivy is a 7 1/2 year old Westie. She is very independent. She loves to play fetch and be outside. At our house in Sugar Land, we had lots of squirrels and she would watch them for hours. She did catch one by the way. She is the Alpha dogs and puts Wrigley in his place often. She is a sweetie though and will cuddle every now and then and likes to get belly rubs. She loves walks and rides in the car. If you talk to her, she'll listen and cock her head and her ears will move - it's so cute.

Wrigley is a 4 1/2 year old Field Spaniel. He is a happy dog and his tail never stops wagging. He loves to give big bear hugs and just this fall has started to love to be outside. He used to only stay out for 10 min. tops; now he'll stay out for hours. He doesn't play much fetch, but loves to chase Ivy and be chased by Ivy. When they start running, Tyler just laughs at them. He loves breakfast time, dinner time, treat time, and any other time he gets food. He loves walks or rides in the car. He thinks he is a lap dog and loves to cuddle. I almost forgot - he was a show dog. He is a Champion after winning 7 Best of Breeds in a row. He was even on Animal Planet. Now he's back to just being our pet and he loves that the most.

As you can tell they are still our 4 legged babies and we'd be lost without them.
