Easter

We had a nice Easter. In the beginning of April, we made this egg garland. Tyler had fun decorating the eggs. We had to add a carrot to each end since that is what the Easter Bunny eats. This year we started a new tradition with Resurrection Eggs. The week of Easter, I hid one or two each day and Tyler would find them. They each have a little symbol in them to tell the story of Easter. Tyler enjoyed it. Of course, Tyler loved coloring his eggs and had fun finding them in the morning.

Tyler's big Easter gift this year was a bike. I had wanted to get him one at Christmas, but when I asked him if he wanted one, he told me, "no, I just like my scooter." In the last month, he's been asking for one. I was expecting a big reaction when he walked into the living room, but instead he just said-What's that bike doing in here? After he looked through his basket, then he was excited and couldn't wait to ride it. He's doing great on it!

Here is our family picture. I loved Molly's little Easter dress. In the picture with Tyler, she has on a sweater over it that my grandma knitted. She actually knitted it for Tyler, but since he was born in July, he didn't get to use it. Molly had it just in case she got cold in church.
