4 Months

Molly, you are 4 months old today. The time has just flown by. You have been doing many new things this past month. When you are on your floor mat, you now grab the fish and usually pull them off. When we scoot you down, you love to grab the ball with your feet.

You are doing more tummy time and can really lift up your head. We've even put you in your bumbo seat for a couple minutes too.

When you are lying on your back, you are either kicking away or have your feet in the air and are grabbing them. You also can really get your bouncy chair going. One day I was about to get after Tyler for bouncing you too hard, but then I realized you were doing it yourself.

You also scoot a lot and turn your self around when you are on your back. You are getting close to rolling over. Everything you grab goes straight into your mouth. You still drool a lot. A new thing you love to do is airplane-I lay down and put you in the air on my legs.

You are still a very easy baby. You are almost always happy and love to smile and laugh. You are starting to be a little cautious when giving smiles to strangers. You do not always like it when someone other than Mommy holds you. Your schedule during the day is you are usually up 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours and then take a 45 min nap. Every now and then you'll do a longer nap and your stretch before bedtime is usually between 2-3 hours of awake time. You still almost always sleep through the night. If you get up, it's usually at 5:00 and you eat then go back to sleep till 7:00ish.
