Georgetown Trip: Part 1

Last week we were in Georgetown for Scott's brother's wedding. We arrived Wednesday and stayed in a cute little house in Georgetown the first two nights. Wednesday night we went out to dinner with Brett & Carman and her family, who was here from Hong Kong, and some of their friends. We ate at Louisiana Cajun Cafe in Round Rock and it was sooo good. I had the best shrimp po-boy and red beans & rice. We also had friend alligator and frog legs. The alligator was good, we didn't care for the frog legs. Tyler tried both not knowing what he was trying. It was too quick for me to get a picture. If you are in Austin, you have to try this place out.
Thursday while Scott and his brother played golf, I took Tyler and Molly to the Children's Museum. We had a good time. Here are Tyler and Molly in the train area.
They had an area called the "Funstruction Zone." That was Tyler's favorite.
In this area, you could put shingles on the roof of this house and build the walls.
This was the truck and bulldozer area.
This was the crafts area and they had this cool part with tools to build things.
While we were downtown, we took pictures with all the fancy cows we came across.
Thursday evening, I helped throw Carman a bridal shower. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures, but it was fun and it was the first time Molly got to meet her Aunt Stacey.
