Molly, you turned 6 months yesterday. I can not believe how fast the time has gone. This month, you are eating a little more baby food. You don't gobble it down, but you're doing better eating. We've only done sweet potatoes, squash, apples, and pears. You like oatmeal cereal, but not rice cereal. You still nurse from me and refuse a bottle. I've pretty much given up on trying one anymore. You roll over to your tummy and will stay there longer. You used to get mad right away, but now you'll play a little bit. At night, you sleep on your tummy too. You can sleep through the night, but the last few weeks, you usually wake up once and get upset when you're on your tummy. I get up and help you turn over and then you usually want to eat real quick-the whole process doesn't take more than 10 minutes, so I don't mind. I lay you back down on your back, but by morning you're on your tummy again. Your naps are getting longer, which is nice and you are staying up longer in between naps too. When you wake up, you give me big hugs. You still adore your brother and love when he plays with you. You just love watching him. We got you a jumparoo and you love it!! You like to spit a lot and still chew on everything. You can sit by yourself for maybe 10 seconds. You only fuss when you're hungry or tired and that doesn't last long because I feed you and put you down. You like watching the dogs and try to pet Wrigley when he's close to you. You like playing with your rings and rattles-you just shake it and shake it. I try to read a few little, easy board books to you everyday and you seem to like them. You love splashing in the bathtub, having lotion rubbed on you, and being just in your diaper. You do make it difficult for me to change you because you're always scooting away. You enjoy pulling my hair, which is why it's usually up. You like going on walks and if I go to the store and only need a few things, I put you in your stroller because you like to see what we're doing. You are still a very happy baby and just as sweet as can be!!
