| Tyler was sweet and let Molly help him open one. |
The gift in the back there is a fish tank-just a little one. He was so excited to go get a fish for it. The ones he wanted were out, of course, so he has one so far and can add one or two more when they come in.
That afternoon, the doorbell rang and he ran to answer the door. My parents flew in and surprised him. He first looked out the window and just stood there frozen. I asked him who it was and he said-Grandma & Grandpa Chambers, but he still just stood there. I said-well, go open the door for them. He was totally surprised.
My parents took him birthday shopping at Target and then we went to Chuy's for his birthday dinner. Tyler has been telling me he wanted a party with his 3 good friends, but I told him we only do parties every other year. So I said maybe when we got home, I could call at least two friends that live close and maybe they could come over to see his new fish. Little did he know, we had about 8-10 friends over and waiting for him to get home. Again, he was totally surprised!
We had a sundae bar set up and the kids had fun.
After Tyler opened gifts, the boys all ran around crazy shooting each other with their bullet guns.
Tyler's friend, Garrett, gave him a bow & arrow. Once a few kids left, I let him open it. Garrett's brother showed them all how to use it. It's pretty cool.
I think it's safe to say Tyler will remember his 6th birthday!
