We were so excited when Brett & Carman called on Thursday and wanted to come that night and stay for the weekend. We are also very excited they are moving to Austin and will only be 2 hours away. We stayed pretty busy while they were here and had fun hanging out. Friday morning, Carman went with us to the library and to the pool. It was so hot this weekend, so the pool felt great.
Friday afternoon, Tyler and Brett played video games while Carman and I went shopping for dinner. Tyler wanted them to try Cresent Chicken. The boy could eat that every night. For dessert, we had rootbeer floats.
Saturday morning the guys took Tyler to the driving range. Carman watched Molly while I had a baby shower to attend. That afternoon, we just hung out and relaxed. For dinner, we went to Chuy's.
That evening we played some badminton once it cooled off-ya know, around 8:00 at night. We've had this set for some time and Tyler has been dying to set it up. It was fun.
Saturday night we watched James Bond-Skyfall. It was the first Bond movie I have ever seen. It was good! Only 22 others I need to see, right?
Sunday we went to church and then just relaxed again in the afternoon. We played some more badminton in the evening and had bbq for dinner. Brett and Carman left Monday morning for Austin-they have their inspection today. We can't wait for them to move at the end of the month.
