The Rodeo

Friday night we took Tyler to the rodeo.  Jake Owen was there that night and Tyler loves him.  We got there about 7:30.  We all had fun watching the calf  roping, barrel races, bull riding and a few other things.  By 8:00, he wanted to know when Jake Owen would be on.  We told him probably an hour and a half.  He asked again at 8:30, 9:00, and then 9:30 came with no Jake.  He finally came on at 10:10.  And Tyler was out by 10:50!  Out cold, we could not wake him up for his favorite song.  Poor guy. He had early dismissal that day and I made him lay down for a bit, but he couldn't fall asleep.  If you ask how the rodeo was, he still says, "it was awesome!"  I normally take him and Molly to the outdoor kid things and Tyler always rides a few rides, but this was his first time in the stadium where we had to buy a ticket to get in.
The opening ceremonies and Star Spangled Banner
Tyler and Daddy.  Notice the cotton candy he's holding.  He also had nacho's and big red to drink.

While he was waiting for me to get his food, he was watching the rodeo.

The lighting isn't too good in this one, but I love it of him.  He wore his cowboy boots, but we couldn't get him to wear his plaid shirt.  Heaven forbid he wear a collared shirt anywhere but church.
This was Tyler by 10:50.  At least he saw 40 min. of the concert.  He slept the whole way home too.
