Valentines

This year for Valentines, we started something new.  I gave each of the kids a mailbox with their name on it and starting Feb.1st, there was a heart in it with something we love about them written on it.  They looked forward to seeing what mail they had everyday. On Valentines Day, they each got a book of 5 coupons and one gift each.  Tyler got a glow in the dark kick ball (Trooper popped his old one) and Molly got a hooded puppy bath towel.  She's been using Tyler's, but his is blue.  This one is a pink one for girls.  She loves it!!
They each got 5 coupons.  Two are with just Mom, two are with just Dad, and one is with both of us.  Tyler's are: going to the batting cages with Dad, playing laser tag with Mom, a movie with Dad, a dessert date with Mom, and going to climb Enchanted Rock with Mom and Dad.  Molly's are: a park date with Daddy, going to Build-a-bear with Mommy, and ice cream date with Daddy, going to Fiesta Farms with Mommy, and going to the Kiddie Park with Mommy and Daddy.  Both are very excited to do their activities.  There was one more coupon book of family things to do.  They are: family bowling, a family trip to the zoo, donuts for breakfast, going to the driving range, a family outing to the Wildlife Safari, and a family nature walk.  I got the cute coupons on etsy.

Tyler just got some store bought valentines.  He wasn't into making anything too special.  Molly loved making Valentines.  These are the ones she sent to her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and a few friends.

We had thought about going out as a family for dinner, but Tyler had gymnastics till 5:30, so instead we got yummy pizza from Papa Murphey's.  I made brownie kabobs and some lemon bars for Scott. We went out for a Valentines lunch on Saturday.
