4th of July

For the 4th of July, the kids had fun just playing together.  They were out with their guns first things again.  When they got hot, they came in the play.  The boys worked on Tyler's new Lego's.  Then they made big bubbles that my mom had brought.

You can see the big bubble that Kyla made floating away

We all went to the pool again.  We swam everyday they were here except for Monday. Before we went to the Flying L on Tuesday, Molly never wanted to put her face in the water.  At the Flying L, she did and was fine with it.  Now every time at the pool, all she wants to do is go under water.  Her and my Dad constantly counted to 3 and would then go under.  She can now go under and swim aways too.  She's become a little fish.

After showers and naps, the kids were ready to eat and then watch fireworks.

My mom's delicious cake!

I have no pictures from the fireworks because I was not there.  We originally all went to watch the fireworks from Sea World.  We met up with some friends on the feeder of Hwy 151.  We parked and walked to them.  While walking to them, we were in some tall grass and there was a big hole right where Scott was crossing.  He fell and sprained his ankle.  I left everyone with our friends and took him to the emergency clinic.  He was on crutches the 5 days, but is finally able to start putting some weight on it.  Other than that, it was a nice 4th of July.

My parents, Kyla and Kaleb left on Saturday evening and took Tyler with.  Molly and I fly up on the 15th for 5 days.  It'll be 9 days that Tyler's up there without us.  I've never been away from him for that long.  We talked to him Tuesday night and he's having a blast.  He was at my sister, Kim's Sunday thru Wednesday.  Now he's with my Mom and Dad.  So far they've made a bug barn and have gone to the Ski Broncs shows.  Saturday night they're going to the Speedway along with my other niece and nephew and on Sunday out on a friend of my parent's boat.  He's too busy to miss us.  Molly is missing him though.  I've been keeping her busy which I'll post about later.
