Illinois Trip

Molly and I flew up to IL on the 15th.  We were both excited to see Tyler.  We went to Val's right after we got in for dinner and playing with cousins.  Wednesday and Thursday we just relaxed a lot.  Every morning, my Dad and I would take the kids to the park.  Thursday, Zac and Bailey were also there.  The kids just played and played.  Thursday night, I was able to meet my friend, Elisa, for a yummy dinner and catch up. (no picture though)

The weather was fabulous!  How gorgeousis this!  This is grass-nice, soft and you can walk in it barefoot.

We went to see the Ski Brocs on Wednesday night. At the intermission, you could go down front to dance.  Molly and Bailey loved that!

 

 

Friday we went to Krape Park with Kim and her kids.  We had a picnic lunch and the kids just had fun playing together.  It's amazing how well they all get along when they only see each other a few times a year.  Krape Park has an old fire truck to play on, lots of different playscapes and a fun Merry Go Round. After the park, we went out for ice cream at this cute little restaurant.

Friday evening we went out to dinner with my parents.  We went to Pizza Hut.  My parents love it because that is where they went on their first date.

Saturday we celebrated my Grandma Chambers' 80th birthday!  I don't have any pictures, but it was fun to see and catch up with so many of my cousins.

After my Grandma's party, we went back to my parents to celebrate Tyler and Kyla's birthdays.Tyler picked a bug cake and bug pinata.  

 

He loves his battleship game.  We even played it on the airplane.
