The Doseum

This summer a new children's museum opened up called the Doseum-it's full of hands on activities.  We went last week and the kids had a fun time.
One of Tyler's favorites things was climbing on these logs

Molly didn't try the logs, but she could do this rope bridge

When you got to the top of the rock wall, you climbed in a window, then up to the top of the tower and then went down the slide.  Tyler did it.
The water area was pretty neat.  Here Tyler is controlling the yellow ball in the water-he has it high. but you can make it go lower too.  They had several neat things like that.
In the Little Town, they had several cute areas.  Molly's favorite was the Animal Clinic. She could take care of her dogs, give them baths, take x-rays, and even put them in kennels.
She also loved the little HEB.  She filled her cart up and paid for her food.
This was actually called the Molly Trolly, but she wouldn't let me take a picture by the name.  The Little Town also had an airplane and some cars to drive.  It was cute.
In the upstairs they had a sections with all different things to build with, big fans-you'd make different things out of paper and thicknesses and see if the wind would blow them.  There was a magnet maze and other cool things.  Tyler really liked building with these straws.
There was so much more that I didn't take pictures of-a room with a tons of balls and different machines blowing them here and there; a lighting and sound area, a book and story area with puppets, a spy area-we had to solved clues; there was an area about the earth, maps, and conservation.... it has a lot.

The kids also enjoyed this little water area outside.
