The resort has a really cool mini-put course. It's real grass, ruff, and bunkers. It was so pretty too. Scott won, of course.
Tuesday after sleeping in and lunch at the resort, I relaxed by the pool while Scott played a round of golf. That evening, we went on a sunset boat ride on Lake LBJ. It was only us two, so the captain kept us out for an extra half hour. It was the middle of the week, so it was so nice and peaceful! I love being out on the water. The only working lighthouse is on this lake. We also saw some pretty amazing houses-Matthew McConaughey's, Sandra Bullocks, Roger Staubach, and astronaut, Jim Lovell.

| This is astronaut, Jim Lovell's house. Those circles on his house are the patches from each of his missions an at night, they light up. |

We went to dinner that night at On the Rocks. It overlooked the Dam below and was pretty with the sunset.
Wednesday we had an early lunch at Blue Bonnet Cafe. I was told we had to get pie from here. Lunch was DELICIOUS!! But we were too full for pie. We went to Inks State Park, hiked some, then stopped on the way back for pie. It was AMAZING!
Inks State Park was really nice. The trails were well marked, it's right on the water, there's kayaking, canoeing, fishing...I think we'll bring the kids back to go camping here. You can bet we'll stop at Blue Bonnet cafe on the way there and back.

| These are the falls everyone hikes to. I thought they'd be a little bit bigger, but it was a nice hike anyway. |
Back to the pie, we each got two pieces, so the second piece was our breakfast on Thursday. Wednesday before dinner, we walked around the resort some and layed in the hammocks they had for about an hour. It was so peaceful.
Thursday after check out, we headed home, but stopped at Pedernales Falls State Park. I've heard great things about it, so I wanted to check it out. We did one hike to the falls. I don't know that we'll camp here. None of the sites are on the water; they're a good half mile hike to them.
As we continued home after that, we drove by Blanco State Park and figured we might as well drive through it. It's pretty small, only 31 camp sites, but they have a nice water area where kids like to play.
It was great to get away and have some time to ourselves kid-free.
