Last week, my parents were here in TX with us. They stayed with the kids Monday-Thursday while Scott and I got away. I don't have too many pictures, but I know the kids had a blast with them. Monday morning before Scott and I left, we went with my parents to take a tour of the Toyota Plant. It's a huge plant and was interesting.
The kids were spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa. They had to make a HEB run to stock up on Cheetos, Mr. Freezes, and other junk food. Tuesday, they took them out to dinner. My Dad pushed Molly on the swing a ton and played with her, my Mom had crafts and projects for them to do, my Dad played basketball with Tyler, they had lunch at the school with the kids...they kept busy.
We got home Thursday afternoon. Friday, my Mom and I went shopping and out to lunch. We found her dresses for the reception and wedding day for my brother's wedding next month.
Saturday night, we went to Tejas Rodeo. My Mom had been, but not my Dad. It was extra special because Tyler's friend, Colby-his sisters were participating in the rodeo. Ainsley did the mutton busting and Ayden was in the barrel racing. It was fun to watch them and hang out.
Sunday after church, we went to lunch at Chuy's and then we celebrated Molly's bday early with Grandma and Grandpa. She was so excited!
It was a great visit with them and we can't wait to see them in a month!
