Tuesday my best friend, Debbie came over and brought her Dad. Her Dad used to drive for HEB, so my Dad couldn't wait to talk trucking with him. After lunch, we went to the Tower of the Americas. They also had three 4D short movies that were fun to watch too.
That afternoon, we all taught Molly how to ride without training wheels. It took awhile for her to figure out the balance and steering part, but she finally got it and has been riding her bike all the time now. For some reason it won't let me download the video on the blog.
Thursday we had a nice Thanksgiving. Scott's parents also came over. We got out our Christmas decorations that evening and went shopping at a few stores.
Friday we did a little more shopping then headed down to the Riverwalk in the afternoon. We watched the Ford Riverboat Parade that evening, which is when they light up the Riverwalk. There were about 20 floats and they all were a Christmas movie theme. We had a good time, but I was a little bummed. I searched and searched for the best seats...ones where we could be in the front row, ones near a restroom...we ended up being under a street. It didn't show that on the map. It was lit up and we had pillars in front of us. You could still see the floats just fine, but it wasn't the same experience as sitting in the dark with only the Riverwalk Christmas lights and seeing the floats come by. If we would have been one or two sections over, it'd have been perfect. I'll know for next time.

| This is one of the floats, but a little blurry. |
Saturday afternoon, we met my friend that was over from SugarLand at Hemisphere Park to play and then went to Magik Theater to see The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.

That is our Thanksgiving week.
