Hilton Head Island

We drove over to Hilton Head and went to the light house there.  This lighthouse is by a golf course that always had a PGA tournament there. This lighthouse is not a working light house.  It was only 103 stairs to the top, the stairwell was wider and had fans unlike the Tybee Lighthouse.  This area of the beach wasn't very nice, no one was set up there.  There were boats out and jet skies.  I wanted to go to the beaches where people set up just to see them, but during dinner it started to rain, so no luck.  Scott wanted to see the course and go to the club house. We stopped by a Preserve to hike, but the weather wasn't looking good, so we didn't make it too far.

For dinner, I had seafood pasta and even tried scallops.  They were a little slimy, but in the pasta I didn't mind them.  We also had an amazing crab cake for an appetizer that was on a fried green tomato.  I don't like regular tomatoes, but I tired this one and it was delicious!  I would have liked to see a little more of Hilton Head, but we didn't have the time.  It was a lot more commercialized than Tybee though.

That ends our trip-Tybee Island, Savannah, and Hilton Head.  It was so nice to get away with just Scott and have some quality time together.
