18 Months

I can't believe this sweet little things is 18 months old.  She is growing too fast.  I need her to stay my little baby. I did that huge post a month or so back, so there is not much to update.  She has her 18 month check up Friday and I'll post her stats.  If you remember, Miss Molly will only wear her sandals.  I got her some cute, brown suede boots I want her to wear, so I put them out hoping she would find them and want to play with them.  I also have another pair of sandals out, tennis shoes, and then I put out these rain boots that used to be Tyler's.  So far, she will only put on the rain boots and she loves them!

A new thing Molly loves to do is play with play-doh.  It keeps her entertained while I cook or do dishes.

Also, if you remember she is a picky eater.  She ate carrots the other day, which was huge for her.  Yesterday, she didn't want anything to do with carrots, but she wanted green beans.  Now, she'd only put them in her mouth, squish down on them, and then take them out, but it's a start.  She likes to have a string cheese when Tyler does, but she doesn't eat it at all. 

I got Molly some new sign books that show kids doing signs and she loves them.  Tyler did too.  She picks up signs so quickly.  She signs:  more, milk, water, bath, please, finish, airplane, book, boat, butterfly, cookie, wind, hot, cold, car, truck, flower, butterfly, turtle, rabbit, bird, and ball.  She does talk too.  She mostly says: Mama, Dada, Ivy, yep, yea, up, moo for cow, woof for dog, and she shakes her head no.
