While Scott and I were in IL, we went to the Ryder Cup. I went with him on Thursday and Friday. The weather was great and it was fun. Phil Mickelson is our favorite golfer and we got to see him up close. Thursday was practice rounds and you could take pictures. Friday-Sunday, no pictures were allowed.
Here is the clubhouse and the driving range. The driving range looks pretty with all the leaves changing colors.
We saw many players on the driving range both days. On Friday we were able to get a great spot on hole 8 and then 14 and saw lots of groups go by. We had a good time.
For those of you that don't know, the Ryder Cup is a tournament between USA and Europe. USA does not have a good record in the Ryder Cup. We were trying to win back the cup. Unfortunately we blew up on Sunday to blow one of the biggest leads. Some of the fans go all out to show their support.
Saturday and Sunday, Scott went with our good friend, Mike. Him and his wife used to live here, but moved back to IN. We love and miss them, so it was nice to see Mike.
