Kindergarten Awards

Yesterday was Kindergarten Awards day.  Tyler got the Most Progress award and of course, Completion of Kindergarten.  Hard to believe in 6 school days, he'll be a 1st grader.  He's very excited about it.  I think he got he Most Progress award for reading.  He started at level A, but really wanted to be at B.  He'd come home everyday and want to practice and he made it.  In Kindergarten, they are supose to be at level B when the year is over.  At our conference last month, Mrs. Claville said she'd be testing him again and she thought he'd be at level C.  She tested him and he got to level E.  We are so proud of him.  He'll already be ahead at the start of 1st grade.  We'll keep reading over the summer to make sure he doesn't forget anything.
