Let Summer Begin

Last Friday for the first day of summer break, we headed to the zoo.  We haven't been in while, so we all really enjoyed it.  Lots of animals were out.  I think the kids favorite part was the butterfly house.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After the zoo, we made smoothie popsicles.
On Saturday we went to a Pooch Parade.  Once I saw that a park was doing this, I knew I had to take Molly.  There were several dogs dressed up and Molly loved petting them all.

 

 

 

 

 

Saturday evening we had movie night and watched "Open Season" and made trial mix. 
Sunday after church we went with our small group to Bigz.  It's a yummy hamburger place and has a huge area for the kids to play. It poured on us while driving there, but by the time we ordered, the rain had stopped.  It was fun.  That night we watched "Underdog."
Today, both Tyler and Molly's best friends were over all morning playing.  Now Tyler is at swim lessons and Molly is napping, much to her protest.
