Kim & Ben's Visit

When my parents went home, they took Tyler with for the week.  Tyler loved it!  He had constant playmates-his cousins, and they did fun things everyday.  What kid wouldn't love that!  He loved the cooler weather too.  His second day home, he told me, "Mom it's too hot here.  In IL we could play outside all day."  But we're in Texas, so hot is what he's stuck with.  My sister, Kim and her boyfriend, Ben brought Tyler back.  I was excited to hang out with Kim and get to know Ben better.  I had only met him once back in March and didn't get to talk to him much.  We all had a great time together.  Here are some pictures from our weekend.

Molly wouldn't wait for Tyler to get home.  We talked about where he was everyday and how she wanted to go to IL now!  This was their cute hug at the airport.  Now they're back to fighting and arguing like always.

Friday evening after dinner, we went for a swim.

Tyler loved to sit on Ben's shoulders and then have Ben flip him off.

 Saturday night, we went out to dinner at Rosario's.  We had never been before and it was delicious!

 Then we went on a segway tour of downtown San Antonio.  It was a lot of fun.  The segways were real easy to get used to and fun to ride on.  I learned a lot and saw new places that I had not been to before. 

 Sunday, we went to the pool again and relaxed in the afternoon.  That evening we had planned to go mini putting, but Molly woke up from her nap with a 102 fever, so we had game night instead.  It was just fun hanging out.  We had dinner at home too-I made my yummy Monterey chicken and Kim made this delicious Calypso Coleslaw and then Ben made strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Kim and Ben wanted to relax, so we spent a lot of time just relaxing at home.  We watched movies after the kids went to bed.  I really like Ben too.  We got along well and him and Kim are happy together.  It was a nice visit and good to have Tyler back home.
