Our New Addition

This past Saturday, we welcomed Trooper into our family.  He is a black and tan Field Spaniel.  He is the most adorable thing!  He's got that sweet puppy breath and cute little face.  We are loving him.  The kids adore him, although he likes to chew and nip at their feet, shorts, and Molly's hair.  They have a lot of fun with him.  He was 9 weeks when we got him and about 9 pounds.  He'll get to be around 40-45 pounds.  Here he is:

 Ivy is adjusting alright.  They have actually played a few times-chasing each other and her tail was wagging.  She's snapped at him though too to show him who's boss and done plenty of growling at him.
